Okay, okay...I know you are all dying to know. I haven't uploaded my pictures yet, those are to come tomorrow or when I find time, but they are really identical to what we have posted here. I've taken a few real close-ups of Jack and Will so I'll post them in hires if they are good enough. I'm not posting the pictures of me and my daughter hugging them... sorry.
Anyway...when you go first enter Tussauds you go into a room full of celebrities...Brad Pitt, Kylie Minogue, Tom Cruise, Juia Roberts etc etc then one leaving that room you walk through a wood panelled passageway with the sound of cannon fire getting louder. You go around a corner and you are suddenly below deck in the Black Pearl and there they are...Will, Jack and Elizabeth. It's the most surreal feeling looking at them stood infront of you, especially with Orlando because having seen the real thing, I can say that that is as near to meeting him, without actually meeting him (if you get my meaning) that you will ever get. It's totally bizarre. His height, the expression, the hair (which is real hair), the freckles and most importantly the eyes are perfection. It was the eyes that got me, I just stared and stared, it was so incredibly real. :twitch: I was almost expecting him to jump into life, it was that good.
There were a lot of people in the room, which was quite small and they all wanted their picture taken with them, so a lot of what I wanted to look at in close detail had to pass me by. However, my daughter stepped up first and stood by Will for her photo then she took the camera and it was my turn. I stood on Will's right (by the hand holding the sword) and put my arm around him and rested my head on his shoulder...on the leather coat...whilst she took my picture then I moved over to Jack. I stood on the other side of Jack (his left) this was when I had a very personal moment with Jack (or rather my hand did )...out of camera shot! I rested my left hand on his sleeve and then put my right arm around his waist and well...it sort of slipped down! :naughty: One bloke in the crowd of on-lookers yelled out "Oi, I can see what you are up to behind there!!" I just laughed and said to him "I'll be out of the way in a minute then you can have a feel!" :lmao: About 20 people all burst out laughing and that was the moment my daughter chose to snap the picture! When you know what is going on in that picture it's really hilarious because it looks like Jack is rolling his eyes with a 'good lord' look on his face!.
Anyway, back to the models. Jack is good, but not having met Johnny, I don't know how accurate it is. Going by pictures I'm not sure it's as good as Orlando's but it was still pretty amazing. His shirt, which I found myself rubbing between my finger and thumb was a sort of cheesecloth/rough linen material. It was really rough and scratchy. I wonder if Johnny wears an identical one, because it must be pretty uncomfortable to wear for a lenthy period of time.
I was most disappointed with Elizabeth, personally, I don't think it looks anything like Keira, but again, I've not met her and I'm only going by pictures I've seen in magazine and on the internet.
I wished I'd had more time to have a closer look at the costumes, particularly Jack's, but we were ushered on so that other people could have their chance. I definitely recommend anyone going there, it's well worth the experience. Hopefully they will still be there next year.

Here are the two best pictures. I'm not going to bother posting the others because they either have me or my daughter in them, or are identical and not such good quality as the ones we have already posted.
If you would like to repost these elsewhere, please could you credit with a link back to us - thanks. :thumb:

Some were excellant, some not so good.
Kylie Minogue - amazing.
Tom Cruise - VERY short
Princess Diana was just so good that it was eerie
Prince William (how tall is that boy??? )
Julia Roberts - stunning
Brad Pitt - is he really that gorgeous!!
George Clooney - I'm suddenly a fan!
Victoria Beckham - she seriously needs to eat something!
Jennifer Aniston - beautiful
I couldn't go into the Chamber of Horrors because I had my daughter with me - there is a minimum age of 12 to be allowed in there.
When we went to the coffee shop they had 'celebs' in there as well. We had Richard Branson standing by our table! Pavarotti was by another table and Sven Goran Erickson was sat on a bench!
It's a really bizarre experience.
