This is a clip from the 'Fellowship Of The Ring' Cannes Premiere Interviews, dating back to approx 12-14 May 2001. Orlando was clearly in mid-shoot of 'Black Hawk Down'.

Unfortunately this isn't the best quality clip, the sounds comes and goes and is occasionally out of sync. I've kept it to one side in the hope of finding a better version, but to date, nothing has appeared.

Orlando starts talking about Legolas and the Elves but unfortunately Liv interrupts and stops him, just as he's gathering speed...

"They are angelic spirits. Tolkein kind of created the elves. He had them as these perfect beings, they were placed on the earth by the Valar, the Gods of Middle Earth. They have these incredible qualities like superhuman strength, reflex speeds and sensory awareness and they are so focused and still and they are immortal and ageless and..."

He was so excited! :giggle:
