Title: Bond - Orlando Bond

The new James Bond novel has just been released. The book, called "Devil May Care", written by Sebastian Faulks, was shipped down the Thames in London by model Tuuli Shipster with a guard of Royal Marines and Royal Navy personnel. The book is set in the Cold War era, in 1967.

The plot has been kept secret but goes something like this: Bond does amazing stunt, has argument with M, beds sexy woman, kills terrorist, meets even sexier lady, gets cheated by her, gets kidnapped by villain with silly name, makes an unbelievable escape, kills major villain, makes love to sexier lady whilst strapped to a nuclear missile, or something like that.

Although Daniel Craig is still the screen Bond, it is rumored the next James Bond will be Orlando Bloom, due to his extreme manliness.

Extreme manliness? Only part of what would make him a good James Bond. I can easily see him in this role and would add a certain style to the Bond films that we haven't had before. Romantic, devilish, cunning, stylish and a lethal weapon in all categories. :fan:

Have to agree that Orlando would make an excellent James Bond...where's my siggy set?

However, I still think he's too young...another 5 or 6 years would be perfect.

I can see him doing Bond when he reaches 35. In the meantime, I think there is alot of other things for him to do - another play - maybe a comedy - a film that is either a suspense, murder mystery, romantic comedy (but please not one that has no substance), and his environmental work is so important to him, and to what he has done for Global Green.

Nice how we have outlined his career :lmao: but on the other side, he may not want to be cast as a Bond. He wanted to shed his idol image and has done a good job of it, wherever he is, and openly stating he didn't want to be in another Pirate film was the right decision for him so I'm wondering if he would feel he would be type cast again when he's worked hard to let it go. Though in having said that, it may be a chance in a lifetime and actors who play Bond seem to move onto other things. Now all I need is a see saw to decide what side I'm thinking. Oh the joys of being a Libra!
