At the end of the film, when Davy Jones goes into the sea, does anyone think that is the end of him? I have wondered about that one.
If Tia Dalma can raise Barbossa up, would she do that for Jones or does she need a purpose to resurrect someone? I wouldn't think Jones would have any purpose worth saving, but wonder if she still loves him or if that issue is long gone.
This is a very interesting question, libra. I don't have a theory about this, but I'd venture to say since Davey's in the sea and she is the Goddess of the Sea perhaps they're together at last.
Anyone else have a theory?
:brow:
I actually wonder if he is in his own locker? :brow: And if so, who would be rescuing him? Would anyone want to rescue him?
If he is in the locker, what would he be experiencing? Jack experienced the worst fate possible...no sea. Maybe Davy would be tormented by visions of multiple Calypso's...unreachable and unloveable. Maybe he would be tormented by the souls he had failed to ferry.
What if it was charged to Will to ferry his soul? No that would be a change in circumstance.
