Title: Favorite Lines of AWE
libra - March 14, 2008 03:25 AM (GMT)
I was watching AWE this morning for the umpteeth time and found myself jotting down lines from the film that evoked a few emotions. Here are some favorite lines of mine from AWE - what is yours?
When Will says: No cause is lost if but one fool is left to fight for it.
When the teacup is hit out of his hand and Will looks at Jones and says: "I wasn't done wiht that".
When Will gives Elizabeth the chest and says: It was always yours . . . Will you keep it safe? (I don't recommend watching this part if you have a cold).
When Elizabeth gives her speech and finally says Gentlemen, Hoist the colors.
At the end when Captain Sparrow says: Yes I lied to you. No, I don't love you. Of course it makes you look fat. I've never been to Brussels. It is pronounced 'ee-gree-jous'. By the way, no, I have never actually met Bizzaro, but I love his pies.
What a film! Drink up me hearties, yo ho. :will:

Great topic Libra! :thumb:
I've got lots of favourite lines...
Jack: Shoot him and cut out his tongue, then shoot his tongue!
(I've used this one myself a few times I can tell you!!! )
Elizabeth: You've doomed us all!
(The cry from my family when I make the effort to cook a meal!)
Will: What is it you want most?
(I hear Will's voice many times when trying to make a decision.)
Jack: Nobody move! Dropped me brain.
(This is my daughters favourite. She says it over and over when she's stuck on her school homework!! )
And my favourite from Will: No course is lost if but one fool is left to fight.

I watch awe over and over again
so its hard to pick a few but...
When Will is tying the bodies to the barrel..
"I thought..What would Jack do?"
"And this is what you've arrived at? It's like you don't know me at all.."
When Sao Feng grabs the guy and threatens him and Barbossa goes..
"Go ahead..He's not our man.."
of Course...
"Peanut!..."
and that whole dialog (?) between Davy Jones and Will with the cup of tea..lol
and finally...When Davy Jones and Beckett (ewww) fight in the beginning..
"The Flying Dutchman sails as it Captain commands.."
"And it's captain is to sail AS COMMANDED.." it seems like there should be a bigg "OOOOO" from the crews after that though ^^
those are just a few..there were too many good lines to chose from:twitch: ...I write too much... :sleepy:

I so love AWE. So many memorable quotes. However, when Elizabeth asks Barbossa to marry them, he's up to the eyes in adversaries and shouts "I'm a little busy at the moment." :lmao: Definitely one of THE lines in the movie. The madness goes on with "Dearly beloved, we be gathered here today, to nail your gizzard to the mast, you poxy cur! (slashing out with sword and foot).
And, the regret in Will's sad comment "It's almost sunset". Arrgh.

Tinakel
Last scene of that film always puts me away, and when he has that wistful sound in his voice as he tells her "keep a weather eye".
And, they think that they can do a Pirates 4 with out Will Turner :will:
All I can say to that is "Don't move" I've dropped me brain". :woot:

That's definitly my favourit one... :lmao:
I always have to laugh so hard on that... especially with the addition of Elizabeth's facial expression... :lmao:
And one I'll never be capable to foget:
"Was that it?" :lshic:
mhmmm... what else, let me see...
well, I've to admit we seem to have quite familiar tastes around here... alot of those popping up to my mind have allready been written down...
I don't know if that one counts, but I love Johnny coughing: "... and guarantee my...*cough* ...what's in there?" from the Blooperes... :bigwink:
ahh... and of course:
Backett: "Are you mad?"
Jack: "Thank God for it, 'cause otherwise this may never work!"...
[sorry, it's been a busy time lately and I'm not sure anymore about the exakt phrase, but I'm sure everybody here knows, what I was thinking about... :flirt: )
and of course the line following (which I tend to use quite often... :P ):
"And that even without a single drop of rum!"
Jack forever!! :bigwink:
I somehow like his father's line aswell:
"The trick is not, to stay alive forever, but living with yourself forever, Jackie..."
I was definitly moved by that one... because if you erase the "forever" it has still an important truth to it – I think...

http://clickorlando.org/index.php?showtopic=1976I love the bloopers as well, Orlando's giggling when the hats blow off is brilliant, but my favourite is when Geoffrey forgets his lines...."Belay that....go do something else!" :lmao:

Ooohhh, what fun!!! Okay, here are mine even though some are repeats:
Captain Jack -
(pacing in the brig) "Think like the whelp, think like the whelp..."
"Nobody move - dropped me brain!!" :lmao:
Will -
"It's always been yours, will you keep it safe?"
"I'm losing her Jack. Every step I make for my father is a step away from Elizabeth."
"What is it you want most?" :hot:
Barbossa -
(fighting in the malestrom) "I'm a little busy at the moment!!!"
and finally
Pintel and Ragetti - (in the malestrom) "..and in case you haven't noticed, it's raining!! That's a bad sign!!"

That is one of my favorites too. Well, it's so much the line. It's the look. OMG :ex:
I have many other favorites too but this one's my ultimate:
Will: "After which betrayal did you cut out your heart I wonder."
