**NO SPOILERS**

Well, I got home from the cinema around an hour ago and already I'm desperate to go again. That was just AWESOME! I barely ate my pop-corn because my eyes were glued to the screen for the whole two and a half hours.

Orlando: Will Turner has grown up! :o Orlando was incredible, doing what he does best...playing the swashbuckling hero. Like Orlando, Will has matured and you can most definitely see the effect leading roles in movies has had on Orlando's performance. When I say there was a very 'Balian' moment there...you'll know exactly what scene I mean when you see it. Will took charge and the crew obeyed his every command...no longer will you see Will - 'the whelp' but Will - the man. The transformation of the character is incredible.

Johnny Depp: What more can I say but 'sheer genius'. I laughed so much over scenes that I was wiping away the tears. Capt. Jack is more comical in PoTC2 and prances around the screen getting into all manner of hysterical situations. Johnny carries off every single moment to perfection, only a couple of times did he slur Jack's voice to the extent that I didn't catch all of the dialogue. I could watch Captain Jack and his exploits forever...and knowing that Johnny is happy to play him forever, I'm in a winning situation. Johnny deserves his 'Oscar' gold for this one!

Keira Knightley: Again another character that has been totally transformed. So much so that the Elizabeth from the first film is barely recognisable as the Elizabeth in the second. But, I like the new Elizabeth. She can hold her own amongst the pirates and boy, can she ever weild a sword! That is one kick-ass chick!

CGI Characters: Very impressive and very realistic! IN the words of my daughter "they were a bit freaky but not so scary as the skeletons in the first film." I watched her during the scenes where you first see Davy Jones and Bootstrap Bill and she was literally sat on the edge of her seat, eyes wide and mouth agape. They impressed adults and children alike.

Just a final note to anyone taking a young child who absolutely adores Jack Sparrow - the ending may upset them a little. I heard a few small sniffs coming from my daughters seat but after I assured her that Jack will be back, she was fine.

What an ending though! It's going to be a very long wait to May next year.
