Hello everyone. I am writing a story about Orlando in present day Hollywood but I need your help. I would like to know where Orlando hangs out, what he eats and drinks, the cologne/after-shave he wears or anything else about him that might be helpful. Anything that you can give me will be much appreciated. It would also help if you know the source where you have got it from. I need to mention it in my references. Thank you ever so much!!!

Writing a story where you are trying to be totally accurate to a persons likes and dislikes can cause problems. I have seen it happen in the past where what was intended to be a fanfiction was actually interpreted as a real-life report written by a close friend, purely because it was so incredibly accurate.
To want to start using real-life events such as meeting friends at a certain restaurant in Hollywood and then adding your own element of fiction to it can most definitely be a case for a lawsuit, especially if the person in question (in this case Orlando) takes offense to what you have written.

There are a lot of people 'out there' who will not be able to differentiate between fiction and non-fiction, so it is best to use imaginary places etc and then there will be no confusion as to the fact that it is fiction.

If you do wish to go ahead with this, the best thing to do is research old magazines.

I'm closing this topic because its not really an area into which we want to venture.
