Title: On-Set Of 'Kingdom Of Heaven'
Description: Spanish Website

This is interesting! :) I found this website during a google search this evening.

EXCLUSIVA: RIDLEY SCOTT RUEDA EN SEVILLA

Its a Spanish website but it has some wonderful pictures of Orlando and the other members of the cast and crew arriving on set of 'Kingdom Of Heaven'.

If anyone is able to give us a brief run down of what the website has to say, it would be much appreciated.

The pictures on this website are tagged by the owner so please can you not copy and paste them here. Thanks.

Thanks for the link, Jesse. It's interesting to see pictures of the actors in costume but not in character.

Wow, he got some great photos of Orlando!

I don't speak Spanish, but I did a little Spanish to English translation on Google, and from that I get the gist that this person was in Seville when the cast, crew and director arrived. He took these photographs and got autographs from everyone except Ridley Scott.

Thanks a lot for the lovely link, Jesse...
I'm a bit out of practice with my Spanish, but I think I've managed to understand the main points...
It's quite a emotional report about that guy's feelings while waiting and finally seeing all those famous actors...
and he seems to be in particular a fan of Sir Ridley Scott... :bigwink:
As he continues to tell his story, you get the feeling that he was the closest thing to fainting when Sir Scott arrived... well, no wonder... that man is quite extra-ordinary considering all his work... :faint:

ohh... and poor Orlando:
first thing he says about him:
"Oh... it's Orlando! It's Legolas!"... God, this guy must have been sleeping... as our dear Orlando has been doing quite a bunch of different roles until then... :twitch:
well... but what ever... the pictures are lovely and even the dear "fotographer" had to admit, that Orlando was "a lot nicer than he thought"! Ha!!! There you go... :P
But now I think I can immagine why Orlando said the waiting "young screeming ladies" were flattering but very intimidating at the same time... Must be strange if you go to work every morning being welcome with the words: "Orlando, I want to have your child!"... :twitch:

.... and Mr. Irons seemed to have been always smoking, while he arrived on the set...

Too bad for the girl/girls who came to see dear Liam...

:thankyou: so much Jocy for helping us out.

I think a lot of people will always associate Orlando with the role of Legolas regardless of how many other roles he takes on in the future. For many younger people (I'm thinking of my kids) it will most probably be Will Turner who they think of when they hear his name.

I can translate the article from Spanish into English for you. I will need a bit of time because it is long and there are lots of interesting things. This info was published a long time ago and as a blog. I have been looking for the pic of the insecticide and the tomato for years... so thank for giving it to me! thank you.

this is the part I really love

All in all, what can you do?. When I was about to leave the place, I turned away and sew something making me burst out of laughing. Somebody had put a pic of Legolas, a tin of tomato soup and a bottle of the well-known Spanish insecticide Bloom Max. All the members of the production staff come out to see that “work of art” it was only missing the birthday candles. Even Orlando’s manager took him to his trailer so that he could see how the sevillians’ personality was. Maybe this collage appears in the future DVD’s extras
