It's lovely to see Orlando mentioned in the Best Actor category alongside Johnny and Geoffrey.
Fingers crossed that many Awards head AWE's way over the next few weeks.

From your lips to God's ears. I know Johnny is well Johnny, and he is in a league of his own - unique, stylish and all that, but Orlando does deserve a mention or an award of some kind. His character of Will Turner grew in so many ways during the three films, and he became as much of a pirate as anyone.
My fingers, eyes, and all else will be crossed hoping for him.

This is so cool. It is a great sign of support for Orlando to put him for Best Actor along side the other two and not in supporting. He was equally as much a lead as they were. And he carried it well. Excellent!

Just answering for you. The Ad, isn't an Award its a 'For Your Consideration' advertisment that is highlighting 'At World's End' for those people who are eligable to nominate and vote in the Oscars.

Studios and producers create these type of adverts that appear only in the industry and trade publications during what's called the (FYC) "For Your Consideration" season. The time frame when the industry trade guilds and organizations make their nominations and have the final voting for the various awards. Sometimes they will run a blanket ad like this one that blankets most all of the eligible voter options..cast, designers etc. Then there are other ads that target specific people and movies, once all of the nominations are made.
