| Buddhist leader the DALAI LAMA has heaped praise on a new Mount Everest documentary, narrated by movie hunk ORLANDO BLOOM. The new DVD, Everest: A Climb for Peace, has been hailed as a "tremendous achievement" by the spiritual guru. The film, billed as "a socially relevant documentary about peace, war, and the human spirit," features some of the most incredible Everest footage ever shot, including a dramatic rescue from near the summit. I am so proud of Orlando, and should he ever find he doesn't want to act anymore, he has a natural gift in the field of charity. He is such a caring, giving and sensitive young man - a rarity these days - and he is such a precious gift. I do not say that in a way other than total admiration for the good work that he has done. He is as the Scots would say "a man of worth". God Bless him for the good that he does. |
