Jesse - October 23, 2007 02:25 PM (GMT)
This magazine - Midsomer Murders - The Official Collection was published in the UK as a part (Part 12) of a series of collectible magazines and DVD's.

Here are some scans of 'particular interest' from the 'Judgement Day' issue. ;)

Apparently the actress who portrays Inspector Barnaby's wife was one of Orlando's drama teachers when he was at Guildhall. I think she helped him get the part of Peter Drinkwater in Midsummer Murders. That could account for one of the houses in the programme being called Lothlorien. I think this episode was made just after Orlando got the part of Legolas. :D

That's really interesting Elfchick.

I knew about the Lothlorien name and the 'Hobbit' references, that was obviously put there for Orlando but the 'Troy' connection was certainly very bizarre.

I don't thinkTroy had anything to do with Orlando. Sergent Troy was in the programme before the 'Judgement Day' episode was aired.

Sorry Elfchick, what I meant was the reference to the future film - 'Troy'. It's sort of like a 'sign of things to come'.

You watch ALL of Orlando's other films and you'll find connections in them all. It's really wierd...

LOTR - The Grey HAVEN's
POTC1 - 'Troy' 'Elizabethtown'
LOTR- Balin's tomb (almost Balian)

I'm currently driving Rosie insane with three (possibly four) that may point to an upcoming role!

Oops sorry Jesse. I misunderstood you.My only excuse is that I have a bad cold at the moment. I had never noticed the references. I'm certainly gonna take more notice in the future. Thanks for pointing it out. :thankyou:
