We have just heard that Orlando has safely received the scrapbook with all your messages and reviews.
He loved the scrapbook and realizes that a lot of hard work went into compiling it. He really appreciated the messages from you all and has enjoyed reading all your reviews of 'In Celebration'.

Thanks to everyone who was involved with this project. Things may not have gone quite according to plan, but the scrapbook did finally reach it's intended destination. :grouphug:

On a slightly different note, I was never able to see the play, but had a copy of the book. I had offered to make copies of it, and one gal was especially kind and surprised me.

She got me an autographed copy of the program and included pictures she took. My birthday is coming up, and all I can say is a big thank you. Without her knowing it, she got me the best birthday gift.

I'm sure I'm one of many people, but I just wanted to say a special thank you to Gonedeaf.

Having sat watching you compile the scrapbook meticulously, time and money no object, and knowing how truely hard you did work on it- I offer a :thumb:

It was a selfless act for the board, and for Orlando. Despite how the evening closed, your first and last thought was to get that book to him, and you did so eventually. That's quite an achievement in itself.

So :thankyou: - even though I wasn't directly involved with the book, I can respect the time and effort that went in to it. It looked lovely in the end!

The next drink at the pub is on me! ;)

It was only the second time I'd put together a scrapbook like this, though this time was by far more important and felt the need to be more sophisticated etc. but I'd be fine with chatting to you about how I made it, where I got the book from etc. :D
