Title: Folder opens on startup

orlando4me - April 20, 2007 03:59 AM (GMT)
Hey all,
Nothing terribly important. Just annoying.
I have a Dell Inspiron notebook, and every time I fire her up, my Dell folder opens. I have checked the Startup folder and there is nothing in it.
Any ideas??
Thanks folks!

I've got a Dell Inspiron and that doesn't happen with mine. :what:

Ummmmmmmmm! The only thing I can suggest is that when it opens have a look at the options and see if there is something that says 'Run on start up' or similar. I used to have loads of programs that automatically ran like that...drove me insane! The one that is still bugging me is the Dell Media Center. It automatically pops up everytime I put in a DVD, I just can't disable it.

Have a look in the Dell Solutions Center, it's listed under 'All Programs' that may be able to help you.

Thanks! I'll check it out.
