Description: Talk About The Film

Have anything you would like to discuss about 'Haven'?

Have you seen it yet? What did you think of this very different role for Orlando?

Feel free to discuss here. :)

I liked and hated the film. :P The only think I hated was how it ended. :P Other then that it was really great. But I just really dont like how it ended. I really think Orlando should do more roles like this. Instead of contently doing epics with swords and stuff. :D

Living in the UK , I've not had the chance to see this film. I've seen the clips on YouTube and from what I have seen of it, Orlando's performance in a role that we are not accustomed to associating with him, is excellant.

I agree Katye. I also think that Orlando should broaden his body of work to include more films like this, mix it up a little with a few small movies like Haven and then maybe toss in the odd one or two epics along the way.

We know he has the ability to do that, he just needs to step outside his comfort zone more often and surprise us.

I think it be cool to see him as the bad guy or some thing like that :D

Finally! I've seen it! :yahoo:

Huge thanks to melodyslove for helping me out. I owe you one hon! :friends:

Okay, here's my thoughts!

Orlando was a amazing, he most definitely needs to do more roles like this, I was astounded at the depth of emotion he portrayed in certain scenes. The one where he's holding that gun comes to mind....

The anger and fear he shows is incredible. It just blew me away. :twitch:

The storyline! Hmmmmm! IMHO...the whole storyline with Carl and Pippa could have easily been dropped, it had no relevance whatsoever to Shy/Andrea's story. None of those characters interacted at all - very strange! The closest they got was Pippa briefly talking to Shy at the fishermans memorial. I wanted more interaction there, just to tie the characters together.
Did anyone else think it played out like two separate movies edited together or is it just me?

Didn't like the ending at all! What on earth happened to Shy? Arrgghhhh! That was really frustrating. Where did he go? What did he do with the rest of his life? It just stopped! Too many questions there! Has anyone checked after the credits to see if there is an epilogue?

Must watch it again later, maybe the storyline will make a little more sense.
