Description: Talk About The Film

How about a discussion topic for the film and the DVD?

I picked my copy up this morning. :D

Got to say, I love the art work on the front and the display stand was even better! Somehow I thought it would be in a nice slip case...like the LOTR Extended DVD's. No idea why I thought that. Did anyone get a slip case?

No booklet inside either or anything giving you a list of chapters...that was disappointing. Hmmmmm, makes me wonder if there will be a Lost Disc 2? :brow:

I see one of the extras is titled 'Captain Jack From Head To Toe'. I like the sound of that one!!!!

Okay, going to watch some of the extras later. If you want to jump in with your thoughts, go ahead. We'll all catch up soon.

ETA: Just watched 'Charting The Return' documentary which gave me something to think about in regard of Ted and Terry possibly being offered the option to write POTC4 (if there is going to be one). My friend Jeppody mentioned this to me in an email and I can see exactly what she means. Hmmmmmmmm! Interesting! I won't influence you, but I'd love to know what you think.

Also watched 'Captain JAck: From Head To Toe' - very interesting and there is a good deal of Johnny in the make-up chair discussing various aspects of costume and make-up.
The white bone in his wig is the shin from a Reindeer!!!! I'd love to hear the story behind that one! Also a really funny moment when discussing the pistols. Johnny is on-deck and goes to slip the pistol into his trousers, "Huhhhhhhh! Buh-buh-buh-buh-buh! It's cold!" :lmao:

Our copy arrived on Saturday morning but so far we have only managed to watch the actual film (ashamed to say we never saw it in the cinema - too hard to find babysitters) and as we are trying to move house before Christmas all our spare time is taken up with that... will try and watch some more tonight though!

We were disappointed there was no booklet or list of chapters too.

I have now watched all the extras, but there is so much information in them that they will all need watching again...and again...and again!!! lol

I agree Jesse, there should have been a slip case and chapter booklet, but nope, I didn't get one either.

I have found 5 Easter Eggs on Disc 2 if you are looking for them.

According to Plan - Left Left Enter - A clip about the catering

Creating the Kraken - Left Up Up Enter - A clip about the Pirate Twins

Fly on the Set - Left Up Left Enter - Clip about the Props

Producers Photo Diary - Left Left Left Enter - Clip about the Coconut Man

I've watched 'Charting The Return', 'According To Plan', 'Captain Jack From Head To Toe' and 'Fly On The Set'...it's taken over 2 hours for those three alone. I love this disc! :D

I'm now going to look through the Easter Eggs whilst sat here at the computer, thanks for posting them Jeppody. They'll show up differently on the comp, so I'll let you know where to find them.

*Inserts disc* :D

Going to keep editing this post to add what I find..

* Disc 2: Menu Page 1 (underneath 'Creating The Kraken') there's a piece of grass. Click on that to see 'Chris and Mike - The Twin Pirates'

*Disc 2: Menu Page 1 (Above 'Charting The Return') there's a leaf. Click on that to watch 'Catering World' - That Pizza looks delicious!

*Disc 2: Menu Page 2 (Bottom of the page) A piece of grass. Click on that for 'The Coconut Man' clip. It includes a deleted scene with Orlando and the Parrot being filmed and Orlando drinking from a fresh coconut.

*Disc 2: Main Menu Page 2 (directly above the word 'Tales' on top of the page) A leaf. Click on that for 'The Paint Prop Man'

***I can't find Chopper The Dog!!!!!*** :sob:

Cancel that..I've got it! :D

*Disc 2 Click on 'Mastering The Blade' put your cursor directly onto the lock of the chest, the holes will turn green. Click and you can watch 'Chopper The Dog'

I think that's it for Disc 2. Can anyone find anything else?
