THE GUIDELINES

(Which means that there now follows a load of boring, but important stuff... :brow: )

User Names

Please keep it clean. We won't allow any user names that we deem to be offensive or vulgar, neither will we allow names consisting of random numbers/letters or both.

Please think carefully before using your own name as a 'User Name'.

If you do not log-in with your user name for a period of 12 months, your membership will be deleted.

New Members
Due to the problems we have encountered in the past, all new members initial posts will be moderated. A moderator may not be at hand to approve your post immediately, we all live in different time zones, so please be patient.

New members are also unable to use the PM and Email system on Click Orlando. Again, this a security measure after problems encountered in the past.
Restrictions will be lifted at Admin's discretion.

Posting In General

We ask that members keep all posts on a mature and sensible level of discussion. Any posts that Admin/Moderators feel are unnecessary (eg smiles only), are to made to bump the members post count or are just plain messing around, will be deleted. Continued abuse of posting will result in Members being put on moderation permanently or being made Non-Posting.

Body Parts Topics **Added October 2007**

Any topic started for the purpose of discussing 'Body Parts' whether it may be eyes, feet, ears, hair, chest, hands, back or any other significant parts of Orlando's Body (you know what I'm saying here people) will be deleted as soon as it comes to our attention.

Orlando is a person, not an object. Let's treat him with respect.

Other Members/Websites and Significant Others

Please be respectful of other members. We are all entitled to have differing opinions and we all need to respect that. By all means voice a different opinion but please be nice about it. Anyone found to be causing offence or being rude to another member, will have the post(s) edited/removed and be contacted by Admin/Moderators. Continued offensive remarks will result in the member being placed on moderation.

The same applies to people you know from other blogs/LJ's/Forums - no inflaming will be tolerated. We will not tolerate any discussion on the way other forums/blogs/LJ's are maintained. If you have a problem with another website, please contact the relevant administrator. This is not the place to air your grievances.

Netspeak

Please - NO netspeak! If you dont know what it is, you're probably not doing it, but here's an example: 'l8er', instead of 'later'. I will let you off with LOL and ROFL because I use them myself!

We all know that Orlando is hot and sexy. But please refrain from adding multiple posts telling us what we already know! ;) Moderators will edit or delete posts where necessary.

Spelling and Languages

Yeah, weall make th eodd typo ;) Lord knows I'm dreadful at it! If English isn't a members first language, it can make life extremely difficult when trying to read posts, so we ask that you please be considerate to others and check your spelling before posting. Click Orlando's moderators will leave a message in your post should they need to edit it for easier reading.

Please post your comments in English. We will make an exception with 'Hello's' and 'Thank You's' in a members native language if you know it. We may all even learn a little. But if you do post a phrase or word in a language other than English please add the translation after it. e.g 'Bonjour!' (Hello!). One of our moderators is multi-lingual so she will be keeping an eye on things.

Swearing

Let's try and keep it polite! We don't mind the occasional mild expletive, but, we will be applying a filter to take out the ones we don't like so don't even think of trying to sneak past us!!

We do a lot of transcriptions on Click! Orlando! and Orlando has been known to come out with a few choice words. A prime example is the 'Extras' TV series episode and the Japanese Press Conference for DMC where he called Johnny Depp a w****r! :lol: All in good fun I hasten to add. If you want to repeat any of these words in a post just use that little star above the number 8!

Orlando's Private Life

Please...NO SPECULATION about Orlando's personal life which also applies to gossip news reports of a speculative nature.

Photos/Video's of Orlando and past or current girlfriend attending Public Events will be allowed (e.g 'Beyond The Sea' Premiere, Soiree Aviateur Event) along with discussion. PLEASE BE POLITE. NO INFLAMING OR PERSONAL ATTACKS OF ORLANDO'S CHOSEN PARTNER WILL BE TOLERATED whether it be about her career, clothes, hair or make-up. In short, BE NICE.

PAPARAZZI PICTURES/VIDEOS/MAGAZINES/REPORTS **Revised November 2007**

PHOTOS: No paparazzi photos of Orlando which invade his privacy, personal space or time. No paparazzi photos showing Orlando upset or in distress. (The same rule applies to fan photos.)

*Paparazzi Photos taken when Orlando is 'Working' (e.g. Premieres, Awards, Attending Public Events, On-Set/Location/working environment etc) will be allowed.*

STREAMING VIDEO - NO links to paparazzi video footage that invades Orlando's privacy, personal space or time. No links to paparazzi video footage showing Orlando upset or in distress.

FAN VIDEOS - Because these fan videos are hosted off site (e.g. YouTube) you may post links to them. However we ask that you alert members when posting your link that they contain paparazzi pictures.

VIDEO CLIPS - No clips consisting entirely of paparazzi footage or photographs (eg 'Celebrity Dogs' 'Celebrity Holiday Hot Spots' ) that intrude on Orlando's personal/private time.
Paparazzi video taken when Orlando is working (e.g. Premieres, Awards, Attending Public Events, On-Set/Location/working environment etc) will be allowed.

MAGAZINES - No scans of a speculative/gossip nature. A random paparazzi image included with a reputable magazine article will be allowed subject to content.

REPORTS - No 'Spotted' reports e.g 'Spotted walking dog in park', 'Spotted drinking coffee with friends'.

ART WORK (Avatars, Signatures, Wallpapers) - Art Work containing paparazzi images from Premieres, Awards, Public Events, On-Set/Location/working environment etc may be posted.

On-Set/BTS Pictures

On-Set/Behind the Scenes Photographs are all pretty much safe for posting, especially screencaps. However, occasionally a few illegal on-set pictures have turned up , released before time without permission from the studio involved. If we find any of these, they will have to be removed until such times as we are free to post them.

Quite regularly cast/crew members from various films post their own personal photographs on their own web-sites/blogs/LJ's. We assume that seeing as they are working for and with the studios/Orlando that the pictures have been approved and are safe to post. However, if we find otherwise, we will unfortunately have to remove them.

Where possible, please give credit to the original poster and/or website.

Posting Portrait/Studio Photographs

IMPORTANT: BECAUSE OF COPYRIGHT LAWS, WE ARE UNABLE TO ALLOW YOU TO POST PORTRAIT/STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHS THAT ARE NOT SCANNED FROM A MAGAZINE ARTICLE. TO CLARIFY...NO PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM A PHOTOGRAPHERS OR AGENCIES ONLINE PORTFOLIO WITHOUT HIS/HER/THEIR PERMISSION.
Where possible please credit the magazine from where the scan originated.
ANY PICTURES FOUND CARRYING A 'CORBIS' or 'WENN' TAG WILL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY.

You are permitted to post 20 pictures per post. You may double post.

Please could you keep your non-clickable pictures below 600 pixel wide. The reason we ask that is because some of our members are on a dial-up connection and they take an age to download. Also, anything wider starts to push the board out of line. If you have a very large HIRES pic you would like to share try uploading it to ImageShack (maximum upload size 1024KB). They give you instant thumbnails for larger pictures.

If you know where you originally found a picture or who scanned a magazine please give credit. It's only polite to do so!

Viewing Pictures and Hotlinking

Our pictures are posted in 3 different ways.

1) Regular picture with NO link to a larger version
2) Regular Version WITH link taking you to a hires version
3) Thumbnail taking you to a larger version

Most of our regular event pictures/scans are hosted with ImageShack. Please feel free to use the links supplied when clicking the pictures. However the bandwith is not unlimited and if too many people hotlink them they may become unavailable with excessive use. If possible, please upload to your own webspace or server.

The majority of our screencaps are hosted on our own personal server for which we pay a monthly fee. PLEASE DO NOT HOTLINK THESE!!! You will know which images are being held on our server because they will not have advertisments surrounding the larger image. Each picture is monitored for bandwith usage. If we find an image hotlinked, we will reset the image with a different url.

Signatures and Avatars

Sig sizes to be kept to 500x200 maximum, avatars 100x100.

It's becoming a tradition here to use a quote by Orlando from one of his films instead of an art-work siggie. You may use either or both, the choice is yours.

Art Work

Please feel free to use any of our pictures for computer graphics.

We have a small computer graphics section and would love to see any art that you create using our pictures.

If you see some art work that you would like to use on this board or other boards, please ask permission from the artist by either adding a reply or sending a PM.

And finally...NO SPAMMING for web sites that have nothing whatsoever to do with Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp or any of their films. Thank you! Anyone caught spamming will be made Non-Posting immediately!
